It always starts with the devil making you feel that there's something wrong with you.
“Fear is an illness. If you catch it and leave it untreated, it can consume you”
“How do you treat it?”
“You have to face it!”
- Geralt of Rivea.
There isn't a formula to how you can overcome these self doubts except trusting in God so much that the thing which you posses is enough to counter any fear or imperfection you think you have.
a mixture of colors, his breath sings
deep in my marrow
inside each pore
etched deep
is a fountain of life
A love that overshadows all fears
In overcoming doubt and finding yourself, you need to wrap your head around why you are still on the sidelines. Why you haven't decided yet. While the mystery of salvation has eluded you. Just you.
Isn't it a lonely world out there?
Why are you fighting to keep control?
That control that has caused you so much?
If there’s anything the happenings of this world has taught us, it’s that your degree won't save you. Or your talent. Or your drive.
This imperfect world doesn't need a perfect theory, it needs a perfect God, who loves us in spite of us flaws.
Who is He to love You?
It’s the audacity of the assertion.
It won’t stop him though.
Self help books won't help much. You cannot unravel the universal truth that this world is in the control of the Mystic, the unseen, through learning alone.
Your breath, every hum, every flutter of a wing somewhere is a testament of God's mercy reaching someone somewhere who's in desperate need of that touch.
His love inches closer for us to see. In our disappointments, that dividing line between hopeless loss and chaos, He brings that hum of hope that scatters the sea and rescues four helpless disciples stuck at sea.
To find that identity and reach shore, you need Him to paddle your boat. To find you.
The Zenits, the Buddhists, have all called ‘this’ different things, but that marvelous being, the ‘big guy upstairs’, The Universe, for this young chap, is GOD.
In every flutter and wave, He'll be there to help and hold you.
I could cut into pieces how God helps you on this Identity Journey, your becoming.
How he'll make you understand primarily that there's nothing wrong with you.
Nothing!
That it’s your fear talking. That you're whole, truly and through Him.
Fear is ruining your life because you're without a guide.
In that storm, centuries and millennial old, who do you think you are to fight it, alone?
Thing is, you won’t suddenly stop feeling fear when you decide to start trusting God more. He’ll just make it easier.
Master Fear, Master of all, but not of one tucked neatly inside the Savior’s Precious wings.
Till next time,
Yours intimately,
Sedo
