The End?
Every time I open my mouth to speak, I’m blown away by my words. Usually, it comes like a rush, then a gentle flow of words wrapped in such a pure ambiance I’m marveled at.
And this happens a lot when I’m writing.
Anne Proulx says, “You should write because you love the shape of stories and sentences and the creation of different words on a page. Writing comes from reading, and reading is the finest teacher of how to write."
I love this quote.
I wrote about so many things the year. Among these, my column on Davoz Blog won “Best Column of the Year” 2020-2021.
A public announcement is still yet to be made. When it’s done, I’ll share the award then.
In the meantime, check it out!
Of my writings this year, here are my top reads:
Paper Planes-A poem
Mists in Time-A poem
The Legal Justification of The Anti Grazing Law of Enugu State
Enugu State: Good Housing Estate Development or Urban Housing Kitsch?
Drink your Water Unforgivingly
Lessons
The lessons we learn are in the
things we don’t want to do
,
the tasks we neglect
, and
the challenges we don’t face.
My lessons for 2021 were:
Master your Fears
Nothing will make sense until you do. Start and let the lessons you meet shape you along your way.
Trust The Process
What is a process?
A process is a set of systems that help the user to do a specific thing or thing. The process is sometimes intangible and quite easy to see and feel. And it can be a great road map on your rainy days.
Set Goals
Set clear defined goals for this new year you’re entering, whether they’re academic, business, or professional, and stick to them.
Don’t Procrastinate
As much as possible, follow through. Don’t leave anything you can do now for later. You’ll be happy you did!
You’ll Be Alright
Try as much as possible to encourage yourself with every step you take. Keep a journal, read wide, laugh, and pray. Remember, your moments of happiness are part of the experience. Don’t let your misfortunes color all your memories. You’ll be alright!
2022 is marching in like a Champion on Heels!🎓🎊
Are you ready??
Till next year,
Yours intimately,
Sedo.
